The larger outside diameter simulates the feel of building up the grip with four extra wraps, in the lower portion of the golf grip.  This reduced taper encourages lighter grip pressure, promoting less tension in the hands and creating more fluidity and power throughout the swing.

    Had been up and down all last year with my golf then bought a new set of irons and they had been fitted with the plus 4 Midsize now it feels like I have something in my hand. So bought more for my woods and 2 iron. Feel good and comfortable in hand.
