The grip is is of a soft texture, it was very flexible, I wrapped the club with an additional three wraps before putting the grip on, I was surprisingly easy to slide onto the club. I've use the club four times since fitting, there's no signs of wear on the grip at the moment, I previously had dri tac grips which are a more sticky feeling compared this one.. Still good quality for the price...

This is the second set of grips I've had and I wouldn't use anything else. After getting them quicker than I thought (great service, I had them fitted to my six month old clubs and had two great rounds over the weekend. Great value and feel, no pains in my hands afterwards!!
Fitted the grips immediately they arrived and have now played 3 rounds with them. These Avon Chamois grips provide excellent feel and they also look great. Hoping there wear characteristics match up with all other features to give an all round excellent grip.
